The Doorbell Fon DP28BF surface-mount door intercom speaker connects to the Doorbell Fon master control box (black box shown in picture) using a 2-conductor (1 pair) phone wire. Any twisted pair wire from 16~28 gauge will work. For runs over 300 feet use a 16~20 gauge wire.
